Founder & CEO

Eyal, the Founder and CEO of Ciphera,

brings over 25 years of expertise in cybersecurity and incident response. Prior to founding Ciphera, Eyal was the driving force behind Clarity Sec, a pioneering cybersecurity firm, where he served as Chief Technology Officer before becoming CEO. His career, enriched by IDF military service and diverse cybersecurity roles, has given him deep technical skills and a comprehensive understanding of cyber threat intelligence and security operations.

Yoav Horowitz

Chairman

Yoav brings extensive leadership

experience, having served in prominent roles such as Chief of Staff and Director-General of the Prime Minister’s Office. He also took part in the development of nation state defense systems, reinforcing his expertise in national security and defense strategies. His distinguished military career includes operational service in Sayeret Matkal, an elite Israeli commando unit. In addition to his military background, Yoav has successfully led several enterprises as CEO, offering strategic leadership across both military and civilian sectors.

Ran is a former Brigadier General who

previously commanded the Israeli Air & Missile Defense Forces, with prior experience as IDF Spokesperson and a member of the General Staff Forum. He brings strategic leadership and deep expertise in defense strategy, offering both tactical insight and operational excellence.

Oren Yeger

Oren is a cyber and cloud security expert

with over 25 years of experience. He is a recognized authority in the financial and mission critical sectors. Oren holds various certifications including CISO, DPO, CISSP, CCSK, AWS, and chairs the ISC2 Israel Chapter’s Cloud Security division. As an authorized instructor for ISC2 and AWS, he shapes the minds of future cybersecurity leaders and manages the CISO & DPO Course Program at Bar Ilan School’s High-Tech and Cyber Security department. His academic influence extends to Tel-Aviv Yafo Academy, where he serves as an academic advisor.
